Gene, the owner of Edge Salon is a love! His business is inviting, comfortable, and a great place to watch Grand Rapids happen! Great location in a great neighborhood! Ample, safe parking, too! When I first went to Gene, from a great referral, he listened to me about what I really wanted, and he was 100% perfect from the very start! Since the first time I want to see him, which I believe was over two (2) years ago, and because of his expertise and amazing skills, I get at least 20+ compliments every time I see him! He’s kind, witty and takes what he does so seriously! I’ll never willingly leave him!!! His hair cuts are extraordinary and he knows color like the back of his hand! I actually love going to see him for many reasons!!

After being with my hairdresser in another state for 22 years, I moved back home to SW MI. I had a very difficult time finding the right person. After 8 hairdressers, I found Gene. Great cut and color. It’s a 90 min drive but he’s worth it. Very happy.

Gene is the best! Never on whole my life I was so happy with my hair! He is not your hairstylist, he is a friend and even if I will move out of Grand Rapids I will not let anyone touch my hair without talk to Gene first and he can gives the right instructions 😊. Wish you the best Gene!
