East Village Barbershop

I’ve lived in NYC for 15 years and gotten my hair cut at many places. From cheap spots to over priced salons. East Village Barbershop is the best! Professional, high quality and they do what you ask for. Ruben is awesome and friendly. Have gotten numerous cuts and fades. Highly recommend supporting this small business.

Ruben did such a great job! He cut my boyfriend’s hair and it’s the first haircut of his I’ve ever liked haha! He was very attentive and listened to what he wanted. He was so fun and nice!

First time at East Village Barbershop and Ruben was great. He really listened to what I was looking for and nailed the cut exactly how I wanted it. Super friendly and professional. Definitely coming back. If you’re looking for a new barber I highly recommend!

Ruben is a great Barber , my hair and beard were a mess and did not want to start my New York trip looking less than great :) Besides having a very sensitive beard and neck , he took his time to make sure my skin does not irritate, styled my hair and fixed to match my beard cut. Spent a full hour and besides the great cut and conversation , i never felt the time pasi g. recommend 100%

Ruben is by all means the best barber in the East Village. I've been going to him since I first moved to the area and I can always count on him to give me a great haircut. Can't recommend enough for anyone who's looking for a reliable barber!
