I have been coning to this Salon for 5 years. My hair was very damaged by different previous hair stylist but Sandra and Barbara did an awesome job. Barbara has retired, but Sandra and her team, Maria and Rosielli, are truly the best. Best care and growth of my hair, kind and compassionate, pleasant and very clean Salon too. If you’re a melanated person and don’t want to deal with people saying racist remarks in Spanish while you’re just trying to get your hair done, then don’t come to this salon. I’ve been to many Dominican salons and establishments, and the microagression I experienced here today far surpassed any other experience I’ve had at these other places. I live in the neighborhood and thought it would be convenient to come in for service. While getting my hair done here today (on my birthday for that matter), one of the patrons continuously referred to me as Lupita and negrocita and was making jokes about me all throughout the time that the stylist was pressing my hair. I wear my hair natural and toward the end he had the audacity to say “I looked brand new”. I understand and speak Spanish quite well
