**editing to include that after several weeks of giving my hair time to curl according to normal schedule and treatment, it sits heavily on one side nearly layer-less and I honestly am annoyed enough with my cut that I am finding ways to pull it back into a tiny bun or braiding it to avoid having to see the heavy curtain of one length hair I have to deal with. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this salon because it left me with just waiting for it to grow out to a reasonable length to re-cut it. It falls just in a straight flat line along the back of my head making a squared shape like someone just chopped the ends off and left it at that. I’ve come to Jalynn a couple times for haircuts (I have curly hair). I highly highly recommend her. She is so knowledgeable on products, hair care, and explains what she’s doing. I love her, she does such an amazing job and is so kind. DryLand is a super cute establishment and it’s a very warm and welcoming environment. They offer refreshments and the stylists are so sweet. Always great conversation in there. Highly highly recommend. Go see Jalynn!!!

I have been going to Caryn for over 9 years. She is a true artist with hair both highlights and cutting - especially curly hair. She is super patient and listens to you…answers all your questions and looks at all your reference photos. I was never able to trust a hair stylist - until I found her. 9 years speaks volumes. If your hair is curly - or you’re looking for a new stylist - you need to book her. She is the best stylist in Baltimore.
