Tiff was incredible! She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy! Loved my experience. Also, the woman at the front desk was incredibly nice despite being so busy! Loved my time here! If you have curly hair - definitely request Tiffany, she is so good! I’ll drop some pictures of how curly my hair is for reference
Very disappointing experience at Drybar SoHo (Bloomingdale’s). I called ahead to say I’d be 10 minutes late, and the receptionist confirmed that was fine. I arrived 7 minutes past my appointment, within the grace period — only to be told my stylist, Shanice Barrow, wouldn’t take me, even though she had no other client, and was visibly sitting in the backroom doing nothing. I rushed out of work and paid for an Uber just to be turned away. If there’s a strict policy, it should be communicated clearly, this felt careless and disrespectful of my time.
Hello- What happened to the fun/friendly Dry Bar?? Was there yesterday late afternoon. Waited 20 minutes. Wasn’t in a rush so didn’t say anything. My dog had a seizure right after the wash which lasts 2 to 3 minutes. I was comforting him and the nasty receptionist told me the stylist had to start immediately while this seizure was happening. Couldn’t give me 5 minutes when i waited 20??? Disgraceful is all I can say. And in closing, the place is filthy.
I never write a review but this was so disappointing. I came in for a blowout and after leaving noticed that my stylist "Brenda" broke off my hair at the root with either the hairdryer or the curler. I know have spiky hair on the top of my hair. The "conditioner" she used also has caused my hair brittle and it is falling out. The top of my head feels like it was burnt.
Today I showed up 5min late for an appointment and was told that they couldn't take me because they have a 0 tolerance policy. They then charged me $25 for a "late cancel." This wouldn't be an issue except for the fact that they took me 15min late the last time I was there and they didn't offer me a discount for taking me late and making me late for work. Finally, on my way out, they took someone who arrived 4min late for her appointment. She was clearly a regular, so I can empathize, but still... If you're going to have a 0 tolerance policy for your clients you should hold yourselves to the same standard.
