Drybar - Louisville

Stylist was friendly but my hair was washed in cold water, and there was no relaxation involved (no massage, scalp scrub, etc). I would think that would be part of the reason to go get a blowout. Additionally the rest of the staff was not even remotely nice. When I checked in and when I checked out both of the people at the front were rude. I could not believe how I was treated upon check-in & out having never been in before. I was basically told to sit down and someone would be with me. Okay… the experience was 5/10 in terms of the wash & blowout and then when I went to check out, the other woman at the desk was even more rude than the first. My wife and daughter came to Drybar Louisville to get their hair done for my daughters wedding and my daughters experience was terrible. They have gotten their hair done there many times before but it has never been this bad. First off the girl had long and pointy nails that made the washing experience not enjoyable, which is the best part of the treatment. During the styling she did NOT do what we asked for , which was the cosmo tai. Just loose curls with straight ends. We asked her to straighten the ends and she kept saying that they would fall eventually, since we had and long drive to the wedding after. But it wasn’t like the ends were going to magically straighten. We did not like how they looked at all and she just kept arguing with us. It was very unprofessional and disappointing.

I wanna say that today and other encounters I’ve had at Drybar have not always been the most professional. They usually take 15 minutes or More before they actually get us back to start on our hair (no problem) However Today we were 12 minutes late. They use that as an excuse to not See me as I did talk to them to get my daughter in. They also informed me that she would have to have two stylist because she had textured hair and that was another reason they couldn’t see me . That’s not fair as we have been coming here for a while they should know how her hair is textured . which that was false information because my daughter told me she only had one stylist working on her hair .i believe they actually have overbooked themselves before the holidays and use anything or any excuse to not see s

I called on 11/11 to ask to go in to have my pixie length hair washed and blow dried because I had suffered a fall the week before and couldn’t do it myself. I admit I didn’t check the price but I was a bit shocked when my 15 minute appointment cost $59! I went ahead and tipped appropriately but I personally feel it was too expensive for my very short hair

I came in the Drybar today (Monday) on the same day after booking online and was able to get in within the hour. Ashley A (there are two Ashley’s) did my hair and she did an excellent job!!!!! I wanted to shout her out because she made me feel welcome , asked me what I wanted, checked in on my heat preference ( I have naturally curly / tangly hair ) so I need very high heat for my hair to get straight and used the proper technique to get my hair straight. I look like I got a silk press and as a nursing student who never has time for myself anymore I feel like a million bucks. I really appreciate her skill and customer service today. I would recommend and return and I am not easy to please my hairdresser moved out of KY and it was hard to find a hairdresser short notice for an upcoming int
