Drybar

Showed up for my appointment only to find the doors locked and lights off. After multiple calls and waiting 15 minutes, I left. This was my second attempt at an 8 AM appointment. The first time the stylist was also late. Once they arrived, they had to open up the salon before we could even start services. This location lacks all that dry bar is known for. They rarely seem to have employees working the desk. Stylists are gossiping about each other and the toxicity of the work environment. The ambiance is not what I am accustomed to. I'm sad to say this might be my last Hingham Drybar experience.

Extremely disappointed. I have been coming to dry bar consistently each monthly for a little over a year now and will unfortunately never return after my last two visits. One of my visits the woman was an hour behind because one of the other stylists didn’t show up and then she vented to me the whole time while getting my blow out about how she was about to freak out because no one else was showing up for work (this is supposed to be a nice and relaxing treatment that I’m paying for) and instead it was an hour of me hearing someone’s complaints. I most previously went in on Friday for a blow out and the woman asked what I wanted which I explained and she did not do anything of what I requested and I ended up going home and re doing my own hair after paying over $70. absolute horrible experiences I’ve had with this location- I canceled my membership. I showed up for my 5:15 appt on time as usual to find there was literally ONE employee working and she was an hour behind and with a client, rude to me and said she didn’t know how to log into computer to either check me in, or to have called me and let me know she was so far behind. Your policies are so strict about members letting you know if we will be even 10 mins late or we are threatened with being charged yet I had to waste an hour of my time to get there and not have an appt. I’ve also been told my every single employee how toxic the work environment is there and there is constant turnover. DO NOT waste your time or money

Never been here before so I wanted to give it a try, terrible experience….. I feel like the stylist I got, was playing in my damn hair. My hair wash was terrible. She really did not get in my hair like that, and after it was done, my hair did not feel clean at all and personally when I like to get blowouts I like for my hair to feel extra clean definitely did not receive that. And the blowout was terrible. I don’t know what school the stylist went to, but her technique is absolutely trash! I feel like she was barely touching my hair with a goddamn brush. I’m very dissatisfied to be honest this is why I stick to the Dominicans salons. They eat down with the blowouts to say the least. worst $65 I ever spent very disappointed to be honest. Mind you this is the very last blowout I was getting

London absolutely blew me away during my first appointment with her! I’ve never had a blow-dry like this—my hair looks so smooth, bouncy, and full of life. She completely nailed it and made me feel so comfortable from start to finish. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment. If you’re looking for someone who’s truly gifted at what they do, London is the one!
