Drybar - El Segundo

I’m really disappointed with my experience here and wish I had known what to expect before booking. I had a an appointment for an up-do for my wedding ceremony. I arrived with dry hair, assuming the service would include a wash and blowout before styling. When I arrived, the stylist Abby Felix suggested doing the up-do without washing or blowing out my hair. She explained that it would hold better and that I would still have nice curls for the next day of my honeymoon. In the moment, I trusted her recommendation since she was presented as a senior stylist. However, I did feel somewhat pressured into the decision, especially since I have long, thick hair and it seemed like she preferred not to blow it out. The final look did not wow me. I had the BEST experience at Drybar El Segundo! Abby was absolutely amazing — super sweet, incredibly knowledgeable, and so efficient. She really listened to what I wanted and made me feel taken care of the entire time. My hair turned out gorgeous, and the whole staff was warm, welcoming, and on point. Truly an all-around fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back! 💛💛

Terrible in person experience and terrible customer experience at the El Segundo location . My husband booked me an appointment on Sunday, the day before the scheduled appt , at 6:30 pm. Appt was set for Monday at 8:15 am. At 7:50 am on day of appt, When I was driving over to Dry Bar, my husband texted me that DryBar had called him. He could not check their message as he was on a zoom meeting. I called DryBar immediately at 7:50 am and left them a message saying I was on my way and would arrive at 8:15am. I was clear on who I was, my appt time and my return phone number. I was also driving thru traffic and a distance away. I left early so that I would arrive on time. I arrive on time, and then was told after arrival, they didn’t have enough stylists and I couldn’t have my 8:15 am sche

I would like to give a big shout out to Aileen who washed and styled my hair today! Her care and customer service was top notch and I loved how light and shiny my hair felt/looked after she was done. Can’t wait to go back to her in the future.

I really did not like my experience with Richelle at this location. I asked for a very simple round brush blowout. She huffed and puffed and made it seem like I was asking for the hardest most complicated hairdo. I get this same style done at DryBar Elsegundo several times a month and never seem to have an issue with any other stylist. They’re all super friendly too! When we get to wash my hair she then says that the hair style I want won’t last at all. I say that it will last as I get this style every time I come here. She keeps making remarks about what I asked for insinuating it’s not a common thing. It is quite literally just a round brush blowout. I did not ask for any curling iron, no updo, no braid, just a good old fashioned blowout. She seems to think it’s a very complicated ask. B
