I don’t know my stylist’s name because she never introduced herself or told me, she did an okay job on my hair but the one thing I specifically said was that I wear a center part, and my part was messed up so I asked to fix it at the end which of course required some extra fixing from her/there were uneven spots due to how she had clipped and brushed. I then got rushed out of the chair with my stylist rolling her eyes/making faces to other stylists. Would not rebook based on this experience given that I was seated to wash hair at 2:37 and it was 3:22 EXACTLY when I checked out so it’s not as if I was majorly pushing the appointment time - I have fine, shorter hair that takes me experienced stylist at home less than 30 minute to was, cut, and dry/style.
Negative stars. Google won’t let me respond to the business owner’s responses on other negative reviews, so I’m leaving a review about the purported “brand wide” extended pricing at the downtown Austin location. I’m not sure what they’re basing that on, but it is completely false. Just two weeks ago, my wife got a blowout at the dry bar in Plano. They did not try and charge her extra after the blowout lasted 1 hour and 3 min. We asked the lady at the front desk why that was, and she said they only charged for extended time if the blowout went over 90 min. NINETY MINUTES. At Austin downtown, if you go over 45 min (including a wash), they charge you the extended pricing…which is an extra $30! That’s over half the price of the original blowout and half the time of the DFW locations. It’s so w
I have been going here for a while now and decided to do the membership about 6 months ago and it’s been the best decision. I love the domain location, but there is just something about the staff downtown. I love them all! Tonight I had Rachel E and she was SO fun. Also shoutout to Molly at the front desk for always being so accommodating and wonderful. She’s seen me in every capacity and she’s always so kind and helpful. Both of them were so wonderful this evening especially after I wasn’t feeling so glamorous walking in. Highly recommend 🩷
If you are going to make a determination to charge extra time ($30 for 30 mins) for a blow out before I even get there don’t assign me a hair stylist that does not know how to work with curly hair. It was like she intentionally slowed down even more taking her time plugging in and unplugging tools and my hair in the back looked bad as if I rolled out the bed. I just wanted the straight look like I had during other visited. She acted as if she didn’t want to touch my hair. I am very disappointed after being a long time customer.
Would not recommend booking at this location AT ALL, don't waste your money. The drive to the Domain location is MUCH more worth it. The lady did not add ANY volume to my "blow out" like I asked, straightened it out, & added too much product my hair felt so heavy after. The girl at the front was pretty rude and told me next time I need to add "extensive time" because my appt ran closer to an hour??? Okay my wash + blow drying was done in 20 mins... then the lady decided to straighten it out but I didn't want to say anything because at this point it had already been started. I should have spoken up, but it really irritated me when the front desk girl in the pink tank top said the comment about extensive time. Sounds like they just want more $$.
