Booked an appointment on Friday evening for Saturday morning 8.30am for a wedding. I arrived early for my appointment and when I arrived I was told that I was emailed this morning at 6.30am to say they were cancelling it because the stylist was sick (they couldn’t call because I have an international number). Apparently three people called in sick this Saturday morning, bit suspicious. The bad review is only because I overheard the stylists say to another person working there ‘why didn’t anyone ring me to come in a bit early I could of taken it’ so it seems that they didn’t try to get someone in early or stand in for the day they just cancelled my appointment which was really disappointing as I had to pay for my uber there and back. The girls who were there were friendly and apologetic t
Please don’t go here. This business is the most chaotic place I’ve ever worked with. I’ve never made an appt that didn’t turn into a gigantic mess. I was assured last year that there was new management but this management may be worse (if that is even possible). Just don’t. If you need dependability, try Moxie, Blo or Gibson or honestly, do it yourself- you’ll be much happier. Corporate needs to retrain this store.
Came in tonight for a last minute service that I booked this morning. Walking in I wasn’t sure who was going to do my hair. Vee was my stylist, she was patient, attentive, and friendly. I give her service a 10/10. Unfortunately, the Dry Bar I give a 0/10! These type of franchises aren’t for people who are going in looking for a relaxing service! The entire experience felt as if it’s supposed to be rushed and that the stylist are on time blocks and can’t go over! The receptionist kept walking up to stylist while they were in the middle of doing hair asking them how long more did they have until they’ll be done! That’s very strange to do in front of paying clients! And for this reason I won’t be returning! I’m not sure what Dry Bar’s mission statement is but rushing paying clients isn’t go
