Drybar - Ballston Quarter

As an establishment that performs only one service, you would think it specializes in the ONE service it provides. My stylist, Sativa, was very sweet, however, I am unsure if she is new to doing hair as this was THE worst blowout I’ve ever gotten in my life as someone who gets their hair blown out very often. To start, she didn’t tell me until after she had washed my hair that I would be charged an additional $30 due to the length of my hair. I’ve never been charged an additional fee in the years of going to drybar but my hair is thick and almost at my waist so It makes sense; and she has already washed my hair so it’s not like I could’ve declined at that point. Wow, I have been coming to drybar for over 10 years and it’s always hit or miss. I have thick, Curley middle eastern hair, and Denae did me up perfectly!!! She blew away my expectations and gave me the best blowout I’ve ever received. So thrilled with this if I lived nearby I’d be here in her chair at least once a month!

Frederick did amazing! I’d never had a blowout before, so he was patient to help me pick a style. I looked so good! He worked quickly, but was so friendly! And I cannot say enough how absolutely stunning my hair looks! My hair straightens back out after curling and loses volume very fast but this style is holding up well! 10/10 will absolutely get this done more often!

I had the absolute best stylist today. Thank you Jada and Amanda for transforming me for my holiday party. Not only did I receive amazing service, I had a relaxing and fun experience. Jada recommended a different style than the one I requested and she was RIGHT!! I received so many compliments on my hair that I felt like I was taking credit for her work. Thank you ladies so much! I recommend the stylists there.

This is embarrassing bc I work upstairs so people will see this but the experience was so wild I want them to and not book here. I booked an 8:15 (AM) appointment. Just so you know… they allegedly open at 7. At 8:05 I knew I’d be late so I reached out to the number who contacted me to confirm my appointment and I told them I was running 15 minutes late.
