They changed the formula of their hair care system. I ordered before they made it public they were doing so. I got the new products when the old products and formula worked on my hair. When I emailed them about this, I never got a response. Unfortunately, bad service has started becoming a trend with a lot of black owned businesses. I will never spend another penny with them, and I'll make sure to tell everyone else the same.

I have been coming to Dreamgirls going on 2 years now. I love the services that I have been getting since coming here. When I first came here the ends of my hair needed a serious trim. I love every process that it takes to the end results. My hair has grew so much within the months that I have to come back and get the proper maintenance. I will continue to show up here for the service, all the ladies here and their good energy and laughs, and the journey to growing my hair back out to its healthy long length.

*I went to the LA Location* I have been so disappointed in this salon's service, skill and professionalism. I went to get my hair done on 7/13. I was excited to visit what was suppose to be highly trained professionals to help me on my hair growth journey. Upon arriving at the salon it took them over an hour to just get started on my hair. my first concern started when getting my hair washed. I have thick hair but thin strands and felt like the stylist was raking through my strands rather then taking the time to comb out my hair. I brought my own conditioner since I was allergic to their conditioner. after washing the hair 3 times, the stylist put the conditioner on my hair and sat me under the dryer. after about 30 minutes under the dryer, she went to rinse out my conditioner and then c

I’ve seen , heard and now experienced (before getting any kind of treatment that is!) how awful and unprofessional the behavior of this salon is. They NEVER answer the phone , you are forced to message BRANDI online via IG (which is beyond unprofessional, seeing as though this is her personal page and not a business page she is using to “sChEdUlE cLiEnTs”). I’m glad I’m catching these red flags EARLY because I am not sure how I would feel if i had to wait SEVERAL hours in a salon before getting serviced. It sucks because it SEEMS as if the healthy hair program works & is good for some people but poor service and lack of communication is will NEVER thrive long term or see a dime of my money.

Love this place! Waited several visits before writing a review. Now 9 months in and my hair is beautiful and long! You do wait a long time in the salon but it is so worth it. They set the expectation ahead of time so don’t complain just enjoy the results! UPDATE: I really contemplated writing this as I really like everyone that works at Dreamgirls but the trauma from the process I have to share. I went every three months for a year and my hair was definitely growing. I was very excited and everyone there is super sweet and treats you like family. I finally reached my goal length at 1 year so I thought it would be time to stop as I was told the program goes until your desired length. Within the first few days out of the weave I noticed my ends looked dead and some breakage inside as well.
