Customer Reviews
I came here on a whim because I didn’t have time to go anywhere else tbh. I typically get my services done in the Bronx, where there are plenty of talented nail techs. I got a gel pedicure and honestly they look so mediocre. The shaping looks terrible + the 100 layers of gel polish. At the end of the service I had my debit card in my hand and before paying I was inquiring about the sign outside that said 15% off for first time customers and I was also asking if I can Venmo instead because I saw the QR code on the desk. The nail tech who did my nails literally kept trying to SNATCH my debit card from my hand to pay and proceeds to ask if I was tipping her as I’m literally asking her about the discount and the Venmo… she did it like three times as I’m explaining what I’m asking about. Not su
I was hesitant to go because of all the bad reviews but I’m so happy I did! Emily did my builder gel manicure and did such a good job. Exactly as I asked, clean salon and good customer service. Would definitely recommend!
I’ve been a customer of dream city for two and a half years and it’s been getting worse each time I go, despite wanting to always have a redeeming experience. I think technicians like Rebecca are great, but others are horrendous. I had a mani pedi with Tina and it was very very disappointing and unpleasant. Despite the mani pedi package including a 10 min massage, she massaged for less than 30 seconds per foot. My toe nails are all different lengths and the polish was messy. During my manicure she filed over my skin many times and cut my pinky with the file. She is harsh and slow and not someone I trust. I won’t be going back to this salon.
Usually love my dip manicures here, but the last time I went I was with Linda and she used a different method. With that method my nails have already started chipping and cracking after one week. In addition it took her almost an hour JUST to remove my previous dip manicure. She put some sort of clear glue looking product on my nails that air dried, vs the usual method of ending with a coat of gel. I have had 5+ dip manicures at other salons so I’m not sure what she was even doing! If you go here, don’t do gel with Linda, and also consider removing your polish at home because their process takes 30+ mins.
I read all the reviews before going a was a little worried to see many 1 star reviews. Well don’t listen, this place was wonderful! My nails look amazing and the experience was relaxing and enjoyable, they even massage your shoulders for a little at the end of your manicure. I got eye brow waxing, pedicure with message and gel manicure. All 10 out of 10
