Dramatics NYC 57th St

I have been going to Tequila at the 57th St. location for the last 15 years at least. She’s amazing. She’s super talented, and above all, she’s just an amazing person. I feel like most that work at the salon, are very talented. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. I’ve never been disappointed.

CHILI at W 57th St Dramatics recently retouched my roots and cut my hair and she is awesome! For years when I traveled to NYC from DC I would get my hair cut at a Dramatics salon and was never disappointed. Then I moved to the West Coast where it’s been difficult to find a stylist to give me the cut I had in NYC. On a recent trip back I was fortunate to get an appt at the West 57th St DRAMATICS studio and be paired with Chili! She is fantastic! She knew immediately and cut my short hair exactly the way I’ve wanted it. This was after she did my roots color and applied a gloss (and a mask) that gives the hair shine through - wash after wash. And the entire staff simply spoils us. Such creativity. Such kindness. Such fun! The prices are slightly less than West Coast salons. Imagine that!

Been seeing Lana for a few years now, and she never disappoints! Always nails what I ask for, and is such a wonderful stylist. Would recommend her for any service!

Xena is an absolutely fabulous hairstylist, not just one of the best but “The Best”! Color,cuts,perms,updos and extensions are what she does so well. She is also a wonderful and lovely person!

Horrible and traumatic experience! I visited Dramatics Salon 57th St. to get balayage treatment for my sister’s wedding. I was excited!! It turned out to be the worst nightmare! Lana is my hair stylist (explained everything from the beginning that my hair is box dyed due to white hair and never bleached etc.) she is very confident that she can do it! Results: my hair didn’t work on the 1st attempt, she redid, bleached more) only the back side after 2nd attempt my hair still did not work so she rubbed some more chemical!! Trying and desperate to make it work it ended up horrible! My hair is extremely dry, breaking and over bleached! Balayage looks ugly! I lived in Florida, the only way to fix the damage they did is to go back there?? Why would i go back to the place that damage my hair?! Th
