DownTown Salon

i have visited this salon sporadically over the years, mostly for maintenance purposes--trims, shampoos, etc. The staff is professional, friendly and efficient and I'm always pleased with the results. They relocated across the street several years ago and the space is much more comfortable. I am a local business owner so I don't have lots of free time. Efficiency is important to me. And best of all, their pricing is reasonable, which for Madison is saying something. Money well spent.

Jen took care of my wedding hair and makeup and everything worked out beautifully! Tom did my color and cut this morning. He's great. There's a reason I'm still going to DownTown after 30 years and a move out of the area.

I went in for my first haircut and blowdry with Barbara and she did a great job! I got exactly the cut I wanted. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and I was in and out within 30 minutes. I will definitely go back!

I have been a customer of Downtown Salon for a little over a year now. After trying numerous salons in my area and not being too happy with the results, I asked for a recommendation from a friend who always has wonderful looking hair. She suggested Downtown Salon and Tom the stylist. The Salon is a bit out of my way, I'm from Randolph, but traveling a little is well worth the trip. I am extremely happy with my hair each time. I usually have my hair dyed, hi-lighted and cut. In addition, the people who work at Downtown, are all friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend giving this gem a try.

The service was fine but the hairdresser chopped my hair off pretty badly. I asked for some hair to be shorter at the front to frame my face and then have some layers to blend with the rest, and I have a big chunk of hair now cut short at one side of my face. Definitely not the result I wanted, it looks chunky and is hard to style, plus I think the frames on each side of my face are cut at different width.
