Downtown Barbershop

We attempted to support a local business by scheduling an appointment at Downtown Barber in Elko. After being told walk-ins weren't accepted, I made a point to book for 3:15 PM. Arriving promptly at 3:00 PM, I was met with the frustrating news that several walk-ins had been taken ahead of my scheduled appointment. This level of disorganization and disregard for booked appointments is simply unacceptable. What's the point of scheduling if it's not honored? My time is valuable, and to have it wasted by a business that can't manage its appointments is incredibly disappointing. Instead of dealing with the chaos at Downtown Barber, I went to Great Clips, where I was immediately seen and received an excellent haircut. It's a shame that a local business couldn't provide the basic level of service

Alright I can't say enough about this place. It is super. We came in with pretty odd requests for our haircuts and they graciously did them very well. (we got bowl cuts) shout out to Tyler and manny they are the best in northern Nevada.

A place to go. We don't have so much options here but this shop was great. Making an appointment for my son was easy over the phone. Guess we met the owner and he's kind. I didn't have cash to pay and I had to leave my son with him to go use ATM even though I was scared 😳 but he was just fine. We had gone to one shop and he never liked his hair cut. So Yes, for the record, he got an excellent hair cut. #decentprice You won't regret your visit at this shop. Highly recommended.

This privately owned barber shop is the best! The skill level is phenomenal! He makes sure it's perfectly what you want, and able to do the sharpest, cleanest cuts. Making an appointment is a breeze, with no useless questions of a phone number or "account". Definitely a place I will continue to go to, and highly recommend.

Just moved here & was wanting to find a good local barber. Well we didn't have to go anywhere else. First barber shop we tried and we will be return customers. Tyler did an awesome beard trim on my husband, and an impressive cut on my son's hair, he looks like a gentleman!
