I had such a great experience at Downstreet Hair Salon today with Lydia! I came in for the first time to get a little bit of hair tinsel added for my 29th birthday. I didn’t want anything too flashy, just something subtle where you can see a little sparkle when the light hits it. Lydia knew exactly what I meant and did it perfectly. She also flat-ironed my hair and worked with my wig, which not everyone is comfortable doing, but she handled it like a total pro. She was very confident, professional, and clearly really skilled at what she does. On top of that, she was very kind and easy to talk to, which made the whole appointment really enjoyable. Lydia did an amazing job on my hair. She did a reverse balayage and a trim, and it turned out exactly how I wanted—beautifully blended, natural, and so healthy. She took the time to listen, explained what she was doing, and made the entire appointment feel comfortable and relaxed. Lydia is both friendly and professional, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and her work. The salon itself is clean, welcoming, and has such a great atmosphere, which made the experience even better. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and already looking forward to my next appointment. Fantastic, personalized service! Amber is a stylist who actually listens to what their customet wants. Makes good, healthy suggestions for my hair care. Staff is friendly, owner is involved and present, and salon is spotless!

Anne is the absolute best! Always makes me feel welcome and comfortable, not only that but she is extremely talented at what she does. Her work is unmatched, being in her chair never disappoints! 10/10 would recommend this salon to all my friends.
