I had an absolutely amazing experience at Studio! Griselda, the owner, did my hair and I honestly couldn’t be happier. She was incredibly professional, attentive, and truly on top of everything from start to finish. She listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered exactly that—if not better. My hair came out absolutely amazing, and I left feeling so confident and happy. You can tell Griselda really cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. I highly recommend Studio to anyone looking for top-quality service and beautiful results. I will definitely be coming back!

I booked an appointment based on the reviews and social media content, which made it appear as though the appointment would be with Griselda. Upon arrival, I waited nearly an hour before being seen. Although the booking gives the impression you are scheduling with Griselda, that was not the case. The girls at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. Zoila ultimately took over and completed my service, and the final result was fine enough. However, the stylist who initially rolled my hair did not appear familiar with 4C hair and did not detangle prior to the roller set. As a result, the set was bumpy and puffy and looked nothing like the results shown in other reviews or TikTok content. If you care about your curls or the overall health of your hair DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON. I visited them recently and made it very clear I wear my hair curly more often than straight. I asked for a roller set and blowout, specifically because it’s less damaging to the hair, after she blew it out she said she needed to flat iron it and then cut (FIRST RED FLAG) I was thinking she would have it at an appropriate temperature but by the time she turned my chair around and I saw the SMOKE behind me, I looked at the iron and it was at the highest temperature of 480 degrees! At this point she was already finishing the front of my hair. I washed my hair out the following day became I couldn’t take the burnt smell. She truly listen to what you want and have an incredible eye for detail, consistently delivering flawless cuts and blow dry that perfectly suited my natural hair type. When she said she did a roller set on my natural hair. Which I was highly surprised I was kind of skeptical I’ve had a bad experience. I was truly excited and happy u could not tell me I didn’t have a relaxer in my hair when I don’t. She definitely delivered and came correct and showed out. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a top-notch Dominican stylist / salon who cares about the quality of their work and client satisfaction. I scheduled a color, haircut, and flat iron style with Griselda, which was listed as $150+, and my appointment was set for 11:00 a.m. on Valentine’s Day. When I arrived, the staff seemed confused about my appointment despite it being booked in advance, though they eventually took me. I assumed Griselda, the owner, would be doing my hair, but instead I was sent to the first available stylist.
