Dominican Touch Hair Salon

I didn’t get a chance to take a before photo today but wanted to show the texture comparison. So a little bit about Dominican touch hair salon. Gina was my stylist and the owner from what I gathered. She is very knowledgeable and has over 10+ years of being a stylist. When I walked into the salon, I was greeted with warm welcomes. I did have an appointment and as soon as I walked in, a couple minutes later I was in the shampoo bowl. I was offered the Keratin treatment by Gina and the end results made my 4C texture smooth, soft, and glowing!! I also had a trim. I literally could not stop swinging my neck from left to right! I even gained some knowledge about my hair and how to take care of it going forward. Prices are very reasonable and the salon services men and women! I will be back to

I truly regret coming here. Gina is heavy handed and does not know how to handle natural hair. She pulled a lot of my hair out and my hair is now thinner. She also caused heat damage to where my curl pattern is not the same as it was prior to me going here. She didn’t say thank you when I sent her the payment and gave her a decent tip which I also regret.

OMG !! Gina is a miracle worker her talent and skills are the best. I went to another salon and got the worst haircut ever. I was completely freaking out.I felt terrible and thought there was no saving my hair. Although Gina was booked up she made some time for me and was able to squeeze me in the next day. Once I arrived at the salon I was embarrassed to remove my hairpins. When Gina saw my terrible haircut, her jaw dropped she asked me who would do such a thing, however, she said don't worry she would do her best to fix it. From the beginning to the end Gina had so much sympathy and kept reassuring me that everything would be ok. Not only did she put me at ease but she did a phenomenal job! His attention to detail, skill with the clippers, and ability to give exactly what you ask for (or even suggest something better) is unmatched. Plus, he’s got great vibes—always professional, punctual, and makes the whole experience smooth. If you want a fresh cut from someone who truly cares about their craft, Rey is your guy. Highly recommend!

I usually am in DC to go to the Dominican hair salon. But I was in Fredericksburg and found this shop online. I am so happy for coming here. I met Gina who did me and my daughters hair so well. I got highlights and she got a blow out. We love it! Thank you Gina! We will definitely come back!
