Dominican Style Salon

The folks here were nice and took me in right away but my hair is ruined. I had to wash it out because there was way too much edge control which left my hair face and neck greasy. My hair is fried from over heating with blow dryer and flat iron which was dirty and pulling out strands with every press, I have bald patches on one side and two in the back where she cut too short and the cut itself was not even close to what I asked for. The style was ok but not a clean look. Not a professional cut at all which is disappointing after cutting off 9 inches of hair.

I went there over 10 times. If you don't have time to wait on line and wait then this is the place. They have lots of barbers so you can expect to be served quick. They also have their own parking which make the overall experience easy and quick. You can choose your style from a list or customize as you go. The price is cheap and the work is good. They don't speak english that well that's why I took off one star but they know enough to get the work done.

Immediate service, but used a lot of heat. I thought heat was just being given off the straightener but they burned my ear. If it was possible I’d upload a picture of it. They were very friendly but cut so much of my hair off as well..

My 1st time ever, I was a walkin. I received a warm pleasant welcome. Immediate service, great wash, awesome blow dry. Great price, really nice ladies. Excellent service all the way around! Whenever I'm in this area I will come here ONLY. Thank You :-)

I needed a place that was local to my school (SUNY Old Westbury) and I just randomly walked in. The place itself is located above a barber shop, with the main entrance on the side of the building, stairs inside. Not too sure if they were handicap accessible with an elevator. This place takes cash only. Usually, the Dominican run salons that I go to charge me $40 tops, and that's wash-treatment-cut-and blow dry. The only reason why I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because this place was expensive. For a wash, deep condition treatment (which they told me was $5 extra), blow dry, and wrapped my hair was $50. They did tell me that I have "a lotttt of hair" and it's long (almost touching my butt). But my overall experience was great. The people there are very nice, accommodating
