3/1/26 I’m updating my review to commend Dawn for her professionalism and refunding for the visit in Nov. However even months later I’m still stunned (I’ve been a regular for the last 4 years) Little baby hair everywhere from the breakage that day, all having extremely dry ends that now frizz and feel like straw. (Hair was waist long with blunt ends) I had to chop off 6 inches because it over processed

I called blue dolphin hair salon a few minutes after 5p.m. asking if I can walk in, the lady owner said that it was okay. I got there before 6p.m. I told the owner I wanted 2 1/2 to 3 inches trimmed & I showed her where I wanted my hair thinned. She washed my hair, but roughly washed it as if she was in a rush, splashing me all over. Then I went to the chair, she started roughly brushing my hair & my neck, scratching my neck, then started cutting away after I told her how much I wanted trimmed, she then cuts more than 3 inches, my hair was finally long, I was finally able to grow my hair out over half way down my back. Then she trimmed/cut way more than I asked her to. She cut just below my shoulders, she suggested where she should thin my hair, then she roughly brushes it out sametime wh

All the times I’ve been there it was great! The owner did my hair every time and it was perfect, she even fixed a botched hair cut done from “professionals”. I highly recommend! Everyone makes you feel at home!

I had coloring done here a few months ago, the color that I had wanted wasn't the color that I got, I even showed them the color that I wanted before they colored my hair. After seeing what the color was when it was done, I did not like it. They added some more purple to it. My hair looked better when it was finally done. The color stayed for one day and started washing out fast after one hair wash and progressively became worse. They had told me it will last 2-3 weeks. A few days go by, I went back to the salon to show them that the color didn't stay, as soon as I walk in the owner sees what my hair looked like and starts to laugh at me. It gets worse from there. Love Dawn! I moved back to Anchorage after 12 years walked in and there was Dawn. The big smile on her face and a wonderful welcome back hug. It is like no time passed.
