I loved the historical feeling of the salon's location. I felt given time I would have loved to have gotten lost there and the surrounding area. The history is richly felt there. I appreciated that my stylist took his time with me. He truly heard me about my preferences and skill set when it comes to hair. He took his time working with my hair and made me feel like a priority. I really appreciated the service I received there BUT the icing on the cake was later that evening when I saw my husband and he said, "You look pretty.". My husband isn't one to dole out compliments so I knew I hit a home run going to this salon. 🥰

I scheduled an appointment with this salon when I was shopping for a new stylist after mine moved. I explained in the initial call what I wanted and they said they could accommodate me. Two months later I went to my first appointment with them. The stylist who helped me made sure to tell me how busy they were and that it was an inconvenience to take new clients. Then they went on to tell me they don't generally do bright colors and that red would be my only option. They pretty much made me feel guilty for being there and that I was not their kind of client. They could have just told me this over the phone when I called in the first place instead of having me come, charging me an arm and a leg, and making me feel like I was rude for being there. Great service, attentive hairstylist. Dawn the owner is excellent both in talent and customer service. Juliet has also done a great job cutting and styling my hair. They specialized with all types curly hair. Helping to not only cut curly hair the way it should be, but also take extra time to teach you how to work with your hair to achieve the look at home.
