DIVA Hair Braidings. Expert Braider's Braid Shop In Houston

I previously praised this shop but I guess they don’t value loyalty. So here’s an updated review based on today’s experience. Re: Disappointing Experience and Unprofessional Treatment I recently visited Diva Hair Braiding in Houston with my daughter, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. We approached the salon with hopes of a professional braiding service, clearly presenting a reference photo to ensure clarity on our desired outcome. Issues Faced: • Braid Quality: The braids my daughter received were significantly larger and the partings less precise than shown in our reference photo. The reference depicted tightly done, uniformly sized braids which contribute to a polished final look. However, the braids done were uneven and loosely tied, detracting greatly fr

Braids did not meet expectations. Will not be returning. Please do better at correcting mistakes done by other workers. I totally agree with Sy Chestnut review. Update I got my hair braided on May8 and all my braids came out so what a waste of $230. I will never go back to this shop again.

I wanna say her name Mavis tall (talks loudly) that women is gifted! She's braided my hair twice both times I loved it I definitely recommend her!

I had been going here for years up until last week when I got my hair done and my hair broke out my braids were so tight I could not sleep. I also developed red bumps on my scalp and a rash around my neck from the hair they used while braiding my hair. Attempted to contact the salon and I still have yet to hear from them with a resolution! GO TO BRAIDING IMAGE DO NOT GO HERE !

The person that braided my hair was very nice and efficient. I think her name was Fatima if I remember correctly. They open at 10 but opened at 9 to do my senegalese twists. I brought in my own hair since I had called prior to see if they could do the color and style that I wanted and to check the price. It only took 5 hours for her alone to complete my twists and my hair came out beautiful, I have received so many compliments. The only complaint I have is thst I told her beforehand that I didn't want my edges braided because the last time someelse braided my edges, they snapped off within a few days but she braided my edges anyway and just like last time, within a few days, one of the braids snapped off so I decided to take the other edge braids, my hair just broke off with the braid bec
