Dion's Barber Shop

I really wanted this to be a good experience to support a local business, especially because they were nice. but the results were disappointing. Missed hairs and uneven cut. There is a visible ring that is not blended where he trimmed the hair around my ear and I didn’t notice until I got home but he took a chunk out of my beard and my beard cheek line is no longer symmetrical or straight(I didn’t ask or get a beard trim) . I was truly hoping it would be good but it seems like he rushed the cut and was happy having me leave with a less than subpar haircut.

It's summer time. I took my son to get a haircut yesterday. Although this shop is old, it is very clean. The boss is very handsome. He works very seriously and has both speed and technology. We will come back and recommend it to everyone.

Went to him for four years over anyone else. Moved two counties away and am disabled is the only reason I'm not still going to see Dion. A most excellent barber and character!

I was told the barber shop was closed when I walked through the door at 12:16 PM. “I have like six people in front of you.” Dion is open until 3 PM is Saturdays (the day I’m writing this, shortly after visiting). I would have understood being told he was closed if I’d entered the shop at 2:45 or something, but being asked to leave at midday was absurd. I ended up going to a nearby chain hair cutting place, which is a real shame— I made a deliberate effort to support a local business and drove out of my way from Arlington to get my hair cut here. Dion was not being mean when he asked me to leave, but I nonetheless interpreted the interaction as incredibly rude. Something interesting that I was not expecting is the fact that Dion’s Barber Shop is located in a shopping center called Viking V

Seriously the BEST place in town to get my boys haircut. I have only ever seen one guy there, but he is the best with kids. Super nice guy, clean and professional atmosphere. Great way to support small business with quality service.
