I started seeing Annie during my recovery from cancer treatments and surgery. My body was very stuck and stiff from all of the time I had spent in bed, and I was trying to regain some movement. Annie was kind and supportive, and so very knowledgeable. I always felt comfortable, and never felt judged for giving voice to my pain. In addition to being a listening ear and a great body worker (using many different techniques), she worked on my scars and encouraged me to look deep in to how they made me feel. She was always careful to employ treatments that were safe, effective, and tailored just for me. She also explained everything, helping me to understand how my own body works. I would recommend Annie to anyone who is looking to feel better in their body.

I went to Annie a few months ago (sorry for the delayed review Annie!) for four or five appointments as my lower back issues were long-standing, and frankly I enjoyed the relaxation and learning of each session so much I wanted to keep going! Unfortunately I had to leave for the UK but I would have persisted with treatment otherwise. Annie is a wonderfully calm, present, skilled medical professional, genuinely motivated by wanting the best for her clients, and impressive in her anatomical knowledge and ability to assess and deliver what is needed. I began seeing Annie for Bowen four or five years ago for pain in my lower back and hips, which often traveled up to wreak havoc in my shoulders and neck. It had been pain that I had been dealing with for a number of years and was working with a chiropractor in Seattle to manage. What I noticed immediately after my first visit with Annie is that the treatment was very gentle. As I continued my visits it became interesting that as gentle and nonintrusive as the treatments were, they held for weeks at a time. Pain diminished significantly after each visit and stayed away for longer periods. I have not seen a chiropractor since I began working with Annie. Annie's work is so subtle that you would not expect it to achieve big results. But she was able to help me resolve stubborn respiratory issues that I had been dealing with for years. Not only are her techniques effective but she is also full of helpful suggestions and encouragement for (simple) lifestyle changes that have helped as well. I feel grateful to have found her and will definitely return to see her if needed.
