Dina’s Beauty Salon

I had a terrible experience at Dina’s Salon in the Little River area. My regular hairstylist was out of town, so I decided to try this salon based on an earlier visit where I saw the owner's daughter doing a Black woman’s natural hair. I was hopeful, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of traumatic. During my consultation, I was told a wash, blow, and trim would normally be $80 and up, but when the owner touched my hair, she said something in Spanish to her daughter and suddenly the price jumped to $100. I agreed, as this was a special day—my anniversary—and I wanted to look and feel good. I went here because of the reviews, ended up being a different salon owned by adelyn, she put her assistant to cut my hair and messed up my hair, I don’t speak creole but you can clearly see that she didn’t know what she was doing, I told her I just wanted to blow dry and cut my hair, she put rollers on my hair, took two hours to do and she was rough, then she put me under the dryer and not even 10min pass by and two rollers where almost completely off, I had to call the owner who wasn’t even there for like half the time. I went to a different salon and they all was disappointed. I had a video of my rollers but doesn’t let me upload videos. Please save your money and don’t go to the assistant she had blonde tips short 4c hair , I ended up taking the rollers off and leaving

Dina's salon is great! She is reasonable, use good products and really care about healthy hair. Now that she has a team with Nail Tech (Malu)and Eyebrow specialist (Leisy) ... I can get everything done in one place! She is open on Sundays!!!!!

Very clean place and wonderful service I love this place this is my first time going here and it went more than good I ask her to do this to me and I didn’t expect it to look good but it’s amazing and very good songs worth it!! Recommend anyone and it’s affordable
