I recently walked in the shop because I had a wedding to go to the week prior, I had made an appointment with Jake Burton the barber. As soon as I walked in the shop it smelled like an indescribable smell that I could not explain, the barber said no words to me when I sat in the chair no greeting or anything. The haircut felt rushed and unprofessional his trimmers cut my neck up as well and not a good haircut overall. Will not be coming back, just a heads up for any new customers that come to this shop

Shane is very kind patient with my sons. he does an excellent job cutting hair. One of the best barbers in Lynchburg! My son loved is haircut with design. And he also very patient with cutting autistic children hair , accommodating them to feel comfortable during the haircut experience

I have been going to this barbershop for over a decade. They can cut hair great, but for the past year or so, the barbers I have been booking appointments for have not been keeping the appointment the barbershop and I set. I would walk in into the barbershop and the barber would not be there or not know about the appointment that was set. I'm not sure why they haven't been keeping their appointments with me. They've been able to squeeze me in their schedule when they haven't kept my appointment , but this could be an inconvenience.

I was recently recommended to go to Diamond Cutz by a friend that used to cut my hair. She joined the military and told me that this is the place that can do the best job with the type of cut that I like. She knows I'm particular about my hair so I hated to see her leave. Well I walked in on a Saturday around noon to the Alleghany Ave location. I called ahead and they told me walk ins were welcome on Saturday but that they get busy. Well I showed up and the place was packed (I guess that's how you know they are legit). Everyone in the shop was very nice and worked very professionally through the waiting customers.
