DESUAR Monterey Spa

The ladies at this spa are lovely! My friend and I came on a Friday for a spontaneous reset. She got a facial, and I got a foot rub. We were offered refreshments while we waited that did not disappoint. There are also apparel, self-care products and more for purchase, and everything is quite chic. I have to give a special shout-out to my masseuse, ✨Lysset✨ who was so attentive, patient, accommodating, and excellent at what she does. I felt so relaxed, valued as a client, and was given plenty of time to get comfortable and reset after the massage was finished. I will definitely be back for more services, and would personally recommend Lysset. Thank you for helping me bring that week to a relaxing close. I’ll be back soon ✨

I had a wonderful experience getting my massage here. . I was met at the door with a tasty glass of sparkling wine, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The facility itself was lovely and well maintained. Cici was my massage therapist. She was very personable, listened to me explain my needs, and made me feel very comfortable. Skill wise, Cici delivered an exceptional massage working out some stubborn knots and ending in calming Swedish strokes. I highly recommend this Spa and Cici as your massage therapist. She is a jewel.

I had a great experience here. This was my second visit, and I liked it just as much as the first. The space is relaxing, the service is consistent, and everything felt really professional. Lysset was great! she was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality facial.

I got a deal on Travelzoo that included DESUAR Monterey Spa so we gave it a try. It's a very nice facility though there is no sauna, hot tubs or pool. The waiting areas are very pretty and serene and they offer water, tea and snacks. I got the dermaplane facial and was happy with it. Since Brenda used a blade vs the electric razor method I had experienced at a different salon, my skin was a bit sore afterward. My husband added dermabrasion to his facial and was happy with that as well. The estheticians were both professional and polite. We would definitely go here again.

What a wonderful and relaxing experience. My treatment was amazing! Brenda, my massage therapist, was outstanding! I had the Casa Glow-sagge with an add on foot treatment. From start to finish Brenda was so professional and extremely attentive! Brenda deserves 5 plus stars! The spa was clean and comfortable and relaxing!
