Desert Essence

They canceled my order and did not tell me it was returned to them. I called and emailed several times, and they promised me a refund. I never received any refund. Horrible customer service, they are very rude on the phone and will purposefully mess up your name, lie to you, etc! It's been over three months, and still no refund. They claim they are still processing it. I do not recommend this place.

On November 12, I placed an order that would have been a Christmas present. Except for an alert that there may be delays due to COVID this year, I received no other notifications. On December 3, upon emailing for an update, I was informed immediately that my order had in fact been cancelled by the company some time previously, though they did not contact me to inform me of this. I supplied both email and phone contact at the time of the order so it appears no attempt was made to alert me to the cancellation. The only thing preventing me from giving 1 star is that the customer service agent I got in contact with in regards to my update, who had the unfortunate job of informing me my order was cancelled, has been very responsive and has been trying to assist. I put in a somewhat larger order earlier this year and found most of the products were great. I love the fragrance free shampoo and conditioner and I absolutely love the organic coconut, jojoba, & pure coffee oil. Unfortunately two body scrub products I bought made me sick and I couldn’t use them. I tried to ask if there was free return shipping or if I could get a credit to put towards another product but I never got an answer from anyone at Desert Essence. Kind of annoying. Even if the answer was no, it would have been nice to have the courtesy email.
