Dei's Nails

My initial impression of Dei's work and business owner was very nice, she worked with me when I had to reschedule and during the appointment, she conversed with me and was friendly. I had gotten a surprise set which meant the artist got to pick the design, I just asked for shorter length nails due to my job at the time. I tipped well but once everything was done and I had gone home after my busy day, I had finally really looked at the nails. They were terrible. They were very thick from cuticle to the end of my nail. The design, I couldn't even tell what it was outside of a small spider on one finger on each hand. I had politely asked if she would be able to just thin out the nails, I didn't ask for a refund or said the work was bad, just that the nail was a bit too thick. She had refused

Alondra did an amazing job with my nails. I gave her the green light on whatever she thought would look good on my nails. And I am not disappointed at all! My nails are beautiful. She was very delicate and mindful about my well-being (getting nails done shouldn't be a painful process). She has a brilliant personality, which makes the time spent at the salon very pleasant. The salon is great, clean, doesn't smell chemicals like some nail salons. The displayed art is beautiful. Definitely recommend this place.

Before going to Dei’s, I had never gotten fake nails, acrylics, a special design—I had only ever gotten a basic manicure at a nail salon, and I usually walked out upset and dissatisfied. I booked a Gel X appointment with Alondra for medium length and basic art, and let me tell you… her work and professionalism BLEW ME AWAY! She contacted me before the appointment and confirmed what I wanted done. We worked together as this is my first time doing something nice to my nails. Even though my nail beds are wonky, uneven, and crooked, Alondra paid extra attention to this and correctly placed the extensions to help my nails “even out” without making me feel insecure or upset (something most salons make me feel). Waited until an hour and 15 minutes before the appointment to cancel. Explained that I had my mom drive from Gettysburg to Shippensburg to bring my daughter for her appointment as I was stuck at work. I was told travel is out of their hands, I get that but customer service or lack their of is definitely in their hands. Not very professional and now I have a very upset child that saved up her money because she was recommended to this place. What a shame!

Best nail salon in the area! I am satisfied every time! So happy with the service and the staff! ❣️
