I have never left a Google review before lol, but this salon warrants it. I am BLOWN AWAY by Colette. I came in with a very specific vision, and she delivered!!!! Never have I had a stylist listen so carefully, constantly check in throughout the cut and color, or fulfill my abstract visions so well. You know that feeling at the end of a haircut where you hate it— but you smile and run out and hope/pray it looks better once you wash it? NONE OF THAT HERE. I am truly so impressed. Thank you Colette, you’re amazing!

Absolutely amazing Dean is. Professional and celebrity style skills. He knew what to do with my hair and his hands are just healing. Great chill energy too. The entire time my head felt good during the session. It’s like the scissors massaging my hair every time it cuts. Best stylist I’ve ever had and looking forward for my future cuts 👍🏼

Dan has been cutting and styling my hair for almost 20 years. He’s the consummate professional—meticulous and laser-focused on client satisfaction. He doesn’t cut corners; he focuses on the entire experience. After washing and conditioning my hair, he gives me a relaxing scalp massage. Then we move to the styling chair, where he takes his time to give the best cut. Dan is equal parts expert and lifelong learner, and I think that’s what sets him apart from any other hairdresser I've been to. I admire how seriously he approaches both the art and craft of hairstyling. He’s passionate, excellent at what he does, and always open to new ideas. If you’re looking for a pro who will listen to you and really get to know your hair, I highly recommend Dan O'Brien.

This is by far the best hair salon I've ever gone to. I have had my hair cut and highlighted here (by both Daniel and Danielle), and every time I leave the salon feeling great about my hair. I always get complimented by people after I have my hair done at Dean Michael Salon. Also, a few days prior to my wedding day, Daniel trimmed and highlighted my hair and it looked PERFECT for my wedding. I live in Alexandria, VA, and I have visited many high-end/expensive salons in the DC-area...NONE of them compares to Dean Michael Salon!

The salon is amazing. They are skilled stylists and the owners are constantly making sure they are up to date on the latest products and styles. The location is conveniently located with ample off street parking. Clean and chic salon stations with great background music. Always feel like I'm picture perfect when I leave. The owners are warm and welcoming. I highly recommend.
