Honestly, it was so much more than a haircut! She brought out curls I didn’t know existed and she taught me exactly how to care for my curls so I can do it myself. Also, there was no hair dye involved - she just brought the life back to my hair and it turned back to its true brown. My hair has never felt this healthy. Magician.

I’ve been going to Sam for my curly cuts for over four years, and every single time I leave her chair I feel alive. My curls have never been healthier, happier, or better shaped. She truly knows what she’s doing. I trust this woman with my life (and my hair, which is basically the same thing). You know all those curly cut videos you see online where you think, “There’s no way my hair could look like that in real life”? Sam is that person. She actually delivers. Even when I lived 400 miles away, I still waited and scheduled my cuts with her whenever I came back to Buffalo. That’s how good she is. If you have curls and you’re even thinking about booking, do it.

Sam was absolutely amazing! I have always had a tough relationship with my hair and typically avoid getting my hair done because I haven’t felt like anyone understands my hair. Sam made me feel comfortable, she was kind and is very obviously super knowledgeable about curly hair. She is also very realistic and understands barriers to long hair care routines. I also have psoriasis and the scalp treatment was PHENOMENAL. She recommends products (without any pressure to use them), shows you how to take care of your curls in real time and is willing to answer any questions you may have. Sam gave me a killer cut - my first ever with a curl specialist. She is so knowledgeable about curls and their care. She gave me product recs, tips, and showed me how to best enhance my curl pattern. Also loved generally yapping with her. Shes amazing, 10/10 will be back!!
