Disappointed I went to Deshaneys twice,the first time I asked for haircolor. When my curls loosed up , I notice i had a lot of grey hair in the back. The owner is very rough with washing my hair. I went back last week. I asked for a shampoo, treatment . I asked her not to pull on my hair when washing it. My hair is thin and fragile. I told her that. I did not get my hair treatment, she left me under the dry for a long time. Then she blow dried my hair(adding more heat) again and straighten it with a flat iron. I felt my my hair snagging while she was flat ironing it. She did not spray my hair. She rushed threw my hair. This is supposed to be an upscale salon. She had other people hair she was working on as well. I have breakage at the back of my hair because of her.I will never go there ag

If you have medium to long natural kinky “nappy” 4 type hair she is way too rough. Also, be very careful with getting your hair bleach or dyed here. I gotten bleach on my skin (my face and eyelid) during the hair dye process and it burned. I’m going to the urgent care to be sure there wasn’t any permanent damage.

Fantastic shop, highly recommend!!! Talented at doing hair and good vibes in the shop. They gave me a beautiful silk press and I have super thick dense 4c hair that many shops cannot do. I cannot say enough good things about this shop, if you come here you will not be disappointed!

In 2020 I did the chop and was looking for a hairdresser who specializes in natural hair. I was referred to DeShaney Salon by a dear friend, and I am still thanking her because it’s one of the best referrals I’ve gotten in a long time. I am so thankful and grateful for Ms. Deanna’s special interest in providing a service for women who choose to wear their hair natural. She has a very welcoming salon and knows how to handle her business. I highly recommend this salon.

Weeks later, I am still loving how soft and healthy my hair feels!
