DO NOT GET YOUR HAIRCUT HERE! In December 2025, I had my hair cut by the owner of the business (I unfortunately don’t recall his name). I brought in a photo of a bob haircut — longer in the front and shorter in the back — and clearly explained exactly what I wanted. Instead, he cut my hair straight across like a pageboy. I was mortified! I waited six months to grow my hair out specifically for this bob cut. When I pointed out that the cut didn’t match the photo, he insisted he had cut it shorter in the back and then began trimming it even more. Unfortunately, that only made things worse. Now the cut looks uneven from front to back. The service cost $50 and included a wash and condition, but the shampoo experience was dull and underwhelming. Issa is by far the best stylist I've ever been to in the country. I have lived elsewhere and found him by chance and convenience near my former workplace-he was the first stylist i went to in Alexandria. No matter what I want to do with my fine/thin hair, he finds a reasonable solution that looks great and gives me a new look and great style, which is NOT easy with my hair. Over the years, he cut my hair short, gave me layers when it was long, and now it's mid length with some nice layers. I love that he can do anything with my few strands of hair and make it look great. After his salon moved and I switched jobs-no longer working in Crystal City, it became difficult for me to get there-so I tried some other salons in the area closer to home. They charged a lot more for a lot less qualit

When I am in Northern VA, this is my go to place to get my haircut. They do a great job. Issa has been my primary person to cut my hair. They have been gracious and professional to me and I hope I have returned the respect, professionalism and graciousness back. I just get a haircut but it is done with care and looks great.

Issa and his team do a great job for a reasonable price! It's quick for a wash, cut, and blow dry and my hair always looks great after a visit. Highly recommended checking out this no frills, yet great service spot for your next haircut!

Buddy was clawing at my scalp and pushing my head around like a rag doll. Another customer came in 30 mins early for their appointment and he started going even faster and even more hastily like he was behind schedule. As if he wasn’t already being rough and frantic enough. I asked him to clean up the edges and he straight up buzzed off a long portion of my hair. That is not what cleaning up the edges means sir. I feel like as a hairdresser you should know that. Luckily my hair grows fast and I am not easily bothered but I will definitely never be coming back.
