David Michael Salon

I first went to David Michael about 4 ago because it’s just down the street from me. Ever since then, Nenette has been the best hairstylist I’ve ever had! She’s not afraid to steer me away from my more avant garde (potentially unflattering) ideas and always offers an amazing alternative. She helped me do my first ever big chop in 2022 and we worked together all last year to get me get the long, glossy hair of my dreams for my wedding. Can’t speak highly enough of her and the salon!!

I flew into Houston in much need of a hair cut and blow out. I was so lucky to come across David Michael's salon. Nenette is a fabulous hair stylist- incredibly talented, warm, and attentive. Would highly recommend!!

My son wanted to donate his hair to kids with cancer and picked this salon for the big chop. This salon actually read the instructions from the cancer organization we sent in advance, which was great as it expedited the whole process. This was my son’s first visit to a salon - ever and he had a great experience. Easy to book online appointments, super friendly, professional staff and on site parking. And a teen cut is only $40!

Just moved to Houston and took a chance trying this salon solely based on what I read online. So glad I did - I was making a big change and David immediately put me at ease. He’s a really nice guy and an extremely talented hairdresser. I told him what I had in mind and showed him a photo and then he adapted the style to work with my face and hair. He recommended the perfect products and took the time to explain exactly what he was doing as he styled so I can recreate the look at home. The salon was absolutely adorable and meticulously clean as well. I’m thrilled to have this world-class salon so close to home. Thanks, David - I’ll be back!

Natalia is great! She listened to my lengthy story about my hair, what I like and don’t like, patiently. And she gave me the exact style of hair that I want. I like that she was honest about what the outcome could be based on my type of hair, and gave my a specific plan on how to achieve my hair goal. I’m excited to have my next appointment with her.
