David Bullen Hairstyling

I've lived in NYC for 15 years and I've tried out so many different hairstylists over that time and David is in a league all his own. I think he's is mainly known for being an expert at cutting/shaping curly hair, BUT I can attest that he knocks it out of the park when it comes to my fine straight hair too. He makes volume appear out nowhere like a magician. I get so many compliments on my haircut even months after I've gotten it. Besides him being fabulous at what he does he's just a lovely person to be around. He always remembers little details about all his clients and I consider him a friend. I could go on and on because I love David and I cannot recommend him enough. I will be going to him as long as he'll let me. He's for the girls 100%

As someone with thick but very straight/silky hair it’s difficult to find someone who understands my hair texture and gives me a beautiful cut. David understands hair and has a lot of experience/knowledge with how to get the results you want. I’m also a very low maintenance person and a haircut from David usually means I can wake up, add some texturizing spray in my hair and walk out the door with great hair. So thankful I found this kind, amazing, gifted person!

David does such an amazing job! He takes time to listen to exactly what you want and really see what will work best with your face and hair type. I am thrilled every time I get my hair done with him, and cannot recommend David enough!

I have been getting bleach/tone with David for a couple years now, and I am obsessed! I would say go in with an idea but def ask David to advise on color. He helps me continue to evolve my color and I always leave with a fresh look. I am constantly compliments on my color, I feel like he has an attention to detail/color theory that I haven't experienced in the past with colorists.

David is seriously a gem. I have a very specific haircut with lots of layers, bangs and curls. I call it Cher hair he gets me and the cut never cuts too much off. David listens to what you say especially about length. Which if you have curls we all know is never the case. I got stopped everywhere and get asked where I get my CUT. He is seriously my hair angel. If you have curls he is your guy.
