Daba's African Hair Braiding

They get 3 stars from me only because the work was good. But customer service from the owner or whoever is not good. I called and texted advising that I needed both myself and my daughter hair done and if they were able to accommodate. She did advise that it was a holiday for them so a lot of ppl are not there, but I could come after 4. I got off of work late so didn’t get there until 5. Arrived and it’s 1 braider. I explained that it was suppose to be for 2 ppl. I was “okay” with just getting my daughter hair done and started to plan otherwise for myself. The lady that braided my daughter hair was very nice, and she did a great job! She advised that I could come back in the morning at 9a! I agreed and drove the 40 mins back to the shop. I don’t know if it’s because of COVID or what but I have came previous times and loved my hair and the prices were reasonable. Now prices are outrages and the quality has gone down. I’ll be finding someone else to go to next time . I was quoted a price which changed once I got there ( if I wanted my hair braided pass my real hair) I feel there should be no fee to braid pass a persons real hair , not braiding pass the natural hair looks tacky... Come to find out all of my braids aren’t even braided pass my hair and it’s not full at all I had 1 and a half bundles of hair left over
