Customer Reviews
Da Zhong Barber Shop is a longstanding neighborhood barbershop known for its consistency, skill, and affordability. My boyfriend has been coming here since he was young, which speaks to the trust and reliability the shop has maintained over the years. The barbers are experienced and attentive, delivering clean, well-balanced haircuts with careful attention to detail. Lines are sharp, blends are smooth, and each cut feels deliberate rather than rushed. The quality remains consistent visit after visit, regardless of style or length. Another strong point is the pricing. Haircuts are very reasonably priced, especially considering the level of craftsmanship and experience offered. It’s rare to find this combination of quality and value, particularly in a shop that has been serving the communi
It was actually 8 dollars. The cut is decent-ish and they are going to be done in less than 10 minutes so you can save some time and money. I got a faded haircut, and apart from a few places, you can't really tell that it was done for this cheap. I gave like 11 dollars after tip. Definitely recommend it, and would encourage you to atleast give it a shot. Go in the morning of a weekday when they are not that busy so they give your haircut a little more time. Also a good way to explore china town if you are a student like me. (I am @ NYU). They are actually better for men's cut.
Fast efficient no frills haircut. Show them a picture of yourself with the haircut you want and they will have it done in 10 minutes. Best value for anything anywhere in Manhattan!
So quick, so inexpensive. Lei was great for a basic haircut. Showed him a picture of what I wanted and he got it done in under 10 minutes for 10 bucks. Will return.
If you need a haircut faster than you can say "chop-chop," this is your place! Their barbers move with the precision of a chef at a dim sum restaurant, serving up your new look before your dumplings get cold. The ambiance? Think less "fancy salon" and more "efficient, no-nonsense Chinese barber shop." Getting a cut here made me feel more in touch with that 1/4 Chinese of me that's smarter and probably knows a bit of kung-fu. It’s not just a haircut; it's a cultural experience. Convenience? Top-notch. I got my haircut while my laundry was being done at Madison Supreme. By the time my socks were clean, so was my hairline – talk about multi-tasking! Da Zhong is where it's at. Go there if you want to feel smart and look sharp.
