This pharmacy is, without exaggeration, the most consistently unreliable healthcare provider I have ever dealt with. I follow every instruction given—request refills on time/in advance where possible, confirm availability, call ahead—yet somehow my prescriptions are never ready when they’re supposed to be and there is always some random issue. This isn’t an occasional hiccup; it’s a pattern. I’ve missed doses multiple times because they fail to start filling prescriptions when they should. Instead of acknowledging their failure, staff routinely act like the problem is mine or like I’m saying something unreasonable. I didn’t see a name tag, but I went in on 3/6/2026 to drop off a prescription for pickup 3/7/2026. I was told it would be ready in the morning. I arrived at 9:30am 3/7/2026 to pick up my prescription. With attitude, the short, fat brunette with tattoos on her wrist/forearm was very rude to me, stating that it would be ready for another 2 hours. As I walked away from the counter she turned to the pharmacist and called me a junkie because I have a prescription for oxycodone due to the ligament in my left wrist did not heal properly or at all. I am in pain and I do not appreciate the comments she made behind my back when she thought I couldn’t hear. Unfortunately, time and time again I am forced to educate the pharmacy staff at CVS in Athens OH on the law in the state of Ohio regarding pseudoephedrine purchases. Ohioans are permitted to purchase 3.6 g of pseudoephedrine/day. (not to exceed >9 g/month). When I attempted to purchase 2.4 g, I was refused and only permitted to purchase 1.2 g (and no, I had not exceeded the monthly total allowed). If they do not know the law regarding this frequently purchased item, what else do they not know the law about?

Customer service is terrible! I had a horrible experience with a bald man at the drive thru window! He gave such horrible attitude without me even saying word to him first off. I was just waiting for him to open the window and he violently threw his finger up to tell me to wait and I never had a look of rushing him on my face! After that he was just the ill mannered person that has ever spoken to me in my life. He would constantly cut me off! I'm sure I am not the first person he has done this to. He should be fired for these types of actions!

Rating: NEGATIVE 5 STARS. I would not recommend this location due to the lack of professionalism, compassion, care, and concern. Situation: Following my partial hysterectomy and bilateral oophorectomy, my pain medication was called into this pharmacy at 11:39 AM EST because of its proximity to the hospital. Given the nature of my surgery, I was in intense pain. We arrived at the pharmacy at 1:01 PM to pick up the medication. The attendant at the window was extremely rude and uncaring. Despite giving him my information, he brusquely stated, "It won't be done until I get back from lunch." I explained, "Your lunch isn't for another 30 minutes.
