CUTZ BY MOE

This review is about customer service tone and attitude. I didn’t get a cut. Scroll to see why. I just moved to this block and was hoping to support local. My nephew was visiting and needed a shape-up, and I’ve also been on the lookout for a new barber. So we got up, grabbed breakfast, and decided to stop in here. Unfortunately… the energy was off from the start. The easiest thing in any customer-facing business is a simple greeting—a head nod, a “what’s up,” something. But when we walked in, we got nothing. Eventually, once it was clear we weren’t leaving, someone finally looked our way—but still said nothing. I asked, “Hey good morning, do you guys take walk-ins?” The barber in the first chair responded, “I mean…” I let him know it was just a quick shape-up—nothing major. He replied

He cuts my son's hair. Always professional and welcoming. Tries to accommodate your schedule if you need something. He also does a great job! Very nice person.

I recently moved to Harlem and was worried about finding a new barber, but all my fears have been put to rest. Moe gave me a great trim, was very attentive, and clearly cares about the quality of his work. Thanks Moe, I look forward to my next cut!

Moe is a highly skilled barber with amazing design precision. I come to him every two weeks to service my undercut. He's open to feedback to ensure his clients are more than satisfied. He is dependable, responsive, accommodating and has never missed or rescheduled an appointment for me without far advance notice. I've been a client for almost a year now :)
