Cutthroat Barbers - Houston Barbershop in The Heights - Men's Barbershop

I have been a loyal client at Cutthroat for nearly two years, but after my experience today, I will not be returning. I want to preface this by saying that my usual barber, Abbey, is truly amazing and it has been a pleasure watching her grow in her craft. However, the inconsistency of the shop as a whole has become impossible to ignore. On multiple occasions with a previous barber, I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time to get in the chair, which caused me to be late to other commitments and incur no-show fees due to the lack of punctuality. The service standards are also highly inconsistent; I’ve been charged various prices for the same service and have received conflicting explanations on how to book my appointments. My barber is great, but I ALWAYS wait despite scheduling an appointment. I've waited up to 30 minutes. Perhaps the clients that came before me were late which cascaded down. The barber I use is fantastic and I don't want him to feel rushed. Perhaps more time needs to be allotted per appointment. I feel like they need to implement something that requires people to arrive within the first 10 minutes of their appointment or something. I'm going to need to find a new place.
