Cutthroat Barbers - Houston Barbershop in Montrose - Hair Salon

I’ve been going to LG at Cutthroat almost every month since 2023, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I first saw him cutting hair in the shop and could tell immediately by his technique and focus that he was the correct barber for me. I am incredibly picky about my haircuts, but LG has done an excellent job every single time—even when I decide to change my style completely and ask for something brand new. He is a true professional, and his attention to detail really shows in his work. I visited this barbershop in August 2025. Just received a promo email from them so remembered about the experience. It was terrible. The barber was rude, tired and said “oh that was not even my client” about me. I dunno what that was supposed to mean - why would I care if he is my guy or not? So weird. Then he shaved my head was an open blade, RAW. No hot towels, no cream, no foam - nothing. I was shocked. Then once he was done - he trimmed my beard whiteout running a comb through it, again just a few pieces of hair off and that’s it. I DO NOT recommend this place and particularly the barber whose name I unfortunately forgot. The worst experience in my life

I haven’t change my haircut in over 3 years, but the I was really happy with what I left with. Flor was super helpful and gave me exactly what I wanted. Will definitely be coming again.

Love Love Love Courtney! Her and I are ex coworkers , but she knows what she is doing! She gave me a whole transformation with the perfect curtain bangs! She is very talented no matter if it’s women’s hair or men’s hair! Book with her!
