Cut Bar Barber Shop West Ashley (Inside Walmart)

Went in for a beard trim and haircut. I asked for a simple beard trim and fade. Not only was the haircut bad but the barber completely destroyed my beard/mustache. Will never go again. Edit: A refund would be acceptable.

Needed a cut so decided to try this place. No prices posted anywhere. Turns out I received a nice cut from a mature barber. No complaints in the service . $40 for a simple cut, nothing fancy and no senior citizen discount is way too high . At my age not much hair to cut 😂. Ended up giving a $5 tip anyway but won't return at that price.

Renee King is the absolute best! I came from out of town and scheduled with her online, She was professional, on time and personable the entire appointment. Renee made sure to keep me engaged and aware of what she was doing to my hair. Her work was quick and design skills AMAZING! I highly recommend Renee and this Barber Chain to anyone looking for a new barber!

Thought I would not judge a WalMart barber shop and give it a try. I will never be back again. I told my barber it had been months since my last haircut because of a major surgery I had and I needed a cut bad. I showed three reference photos from one of my previous barbers so he knew exactly what I wanted with my hair. I needed the top to be cut just long enough to lay on the front, and a fade on the sides. He cut about 1/2 inch around the neckline as a “fade” and trimmed up my Earline and temples and that was IT! Didn’t cut any other hair, only about 20% of all my hair was cut. He showed me the initial fade and I said I needed more of it done shorter as it wasn’t even touched a third way up my head. Renee was amazing!! She was happy to do any requests I had and seemed excited to style my hair. Honestly this was my best experience at a salon, I felt welcomed immediately and didn’t have the “awkward sitting in the chair” feeling one bit! I was super excited to see the final product, and she definitely didn’t disappoint! I will most certainly be returning and requesting Renee (:
