Betty is the owner and the absolute best! She has been braiding my hair for 20 years. Betty is a realist and will tell you the truth about your hair. What styles will work for your hair type. If you want an honest person who may run sometimes a little behind she is your person.

First off, the braiding is okay. On the other hand, she gave me something that i didn’t ask for. I was waiting to be seated forever since i had an appointment already made. Once i got into the chair the lady didn’t even know what i exactly wanted but proceeded to blow dry my hair. Which to say was burning my scalp. I asked for medium size box braids and came out the salon with small box braids. Not to mention she told me a price on the phone twice but when it was time to pay she gave me a higher price. This is not the first time it has happened. I will be glad to keep my money. Last but not least she talks down on others just to uplift herself and her business. Sweetheart we paid for the stuff you get.

This place deserves 0 stars. I will never go to this place again, I was given an appointment time of 5:00pm. Upon arrival, I waited over an hour and a half before I was acknowledged to sit in the chair. The owner then stated that for wash and blow dry, it was $25 which is automatically high but I needed it. As I sat down at the wash bowl, she came from the back dragging a bucket of water and used that and a pitcher to wash my hair. I couldn’t believe it. I felt insulted when I expressed my opinion to her and she proceeded to ask me why I was arguing over $5 . By then she had already put the shampoo in my hair and I just wanted her to braid my hair so I could leave. She also braided my hair so tight, I had to remove it a week later due to an outbreak around my edges and neck. I will never g

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! . I will personally tell everyone I know about my horrible experience. I normally don’t leave reviews but I’ve never been talked to and treated so poorly in my life. First of all, Betty and her girls are rude as hell. The style I got was ugly and way too tight around my edges and all I kept hearing was how pretty it was. She did attempt to fix the situation, but again very rude and condescending. I finally decided to leave with my hair undone and $50 wasted. There are plenty of other Braiding Shops in the area. PLEASE PICK ANOTHER ONE!!!

I was a regular customer for 5 years and I have had enough. I can't continue to support any business that doesn't Value my Time and Money. The last 2 x's I had an appointment with Ms. Betty I was rescheduled after I made an appointment ahead of time. I Value what I do with my time, energy and when I spend my $$$ I expect that in return. I understand that things come up or your day may not go as planned but you can't neglect the fact that your Customer has arranged their day as well to receive a service. I took the day off for my appointment and when I get there I was rescheduled until the following day and was told you would try to get me in earlier but schedule again for Noon and then when I was on my way to my appointment you call me to ask can I push it back an hour!!!
