Marcella’s hair cut was a game changer, in all the best ways. I had no idea what a difference it would make to have a curly girl cut by someone who has been specially trained. She spent extra time teaching me which products are best for my curl type and how to distribute, scrunch, and dry my hair to bring out the best curls that last! I would ask her up front what the charge is since every appointment is customized for your hair and styling session.

She has left my daughter in tears not once but twice now. The first time, Marcela didn't listen all that well to her requests but I thought the cut turned out cute so I brushed off my daughters disappointment in the cut and convinced her to go again for a trim (even though my 17 yo daughter was scared to go alone because she said Marcela was "mean"). For her second visit, she never even made it through the door as Marcela cancelled the appointment ~30 minutes before the scheduled time. Marcela called 1 hour before the appointment when I couldn't answer the phone and apparently decided that was enough reason to fill the slot with someone else.
