I’ve been seeing Liv at Curl Coven for 3 years, and my wavy/curly hair has never looked better. I used to straighten it or throw it up now it actually works with minimal effort, thanks to her cuts. As a white woman, when black women compliment my waves/curls, I know they look good. And Liv, a white stylist, being trusted by black women for their curly cuts? That says it all. She understands texture, shape, and real-life hair. It's worth every penny. Book her. You won’t regret it.

Amazing experience with Abbie, she is so talented and I love her teaching method. It was my first time ever seeing a curly hair stylist and she answered all my questions with background and really made sure I was well informed. She doesn’t try to sell you products which is nice, (I still ended up buying some) but never felt pressured to. She knows her hair and styled and cut mine perfectly! Can’t wait to see her again.

I moved to the Nashville area two years ago, and I was terrified of having to find a new hair stylist! I finally was recommended to Curl Coven, and I’m so happy to have tried this salon! The location has ample parking, and it feels like a warm and safe space. I got a new client cut by Liv, and I felt at ease the entire time. She walked me through the whole hair routine and explained how I could modify it for at home. Liv checked in about what I wanted for my hair, and she recommended a super maintainable routine. Just being walked through the steps by a professional was already worth the cost (the haircut, wash, and style were an added bonus).. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Liv is amazing! One of the best salon experiences, ever! If you feel like you have never had a good curly cut, styling, and education then you need to come here. Liv will walk you through everything and make you feel like you're equipped to keep up the work she did. Also, she is a lovely human. And makes your time super positive and fun. Best haircut ever! Liv is truly a curly hair expert, and I'd leave her 10 stars if I could. Before the appointment, I was a little skeptical that she could possibly teach me that much about my hair. But I was wrong. I learned a lot, enjoyed my time at her shop and came out looking great. If you have curly hair, you know how rare that last one is - no more leaving the salon looking like a frizzy mess!
