I had been considering getting a curly cut for a long time, and I’m so glad I decided to book the curl experience with Dom! She did an incredible job with my hair, making sure to get every last detail perfect. Dom is so knowledgeable and showed me how to style my wavy hair, answering any questions I had before, during, and after the process. I left feeling so confident and excited! This service is a great value considering the master level hair cutting, styling, and education! Just book it, you won’t regret it!

Before walking into Curl Bar Studio, it had been a WHILE since I’d had my last haircut. I had always wanted a curly cut, but wasn’t sure if I wanted to invest the time and money into getting one. After my experience with Yaya, I would definitely recommend Curl Bar Studio! Yaya was a wonderful stylist. She took the time to explain everything she was doing (and fielded my many questions). She helped me see that every curly hair type is different, and that there is no “one size fits all” approach. Because of that, I walked away not only with an amazing cut, but empowered to know my own curls better and how to maintain them on my own! Highly recommend this salon! I’m just visiting the area and really wish I had one like this nearby, these ladies really know their stuff and can do wonders with curly hair. I’ve been following the curly girl method for more than 10 years now but picked up some new tips during this cut as well. Yaya took her time to really understand what I like and I was impressed with how detail oriented she was. She diffused my hair dry and showed me the right technique while doing it as well. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Chicago!

My curly hair cut experience with Yahaira was fantastic! It was my first time going to the Curl Bar Studio and I'm very happy with the end result. Yahaira was very friendly & easy to talk to, she did a great job explaining all of the steps, and shared many tips for styling my hair at home. It's hard to find someone who is experienced with curly hair and able to do exactly what I wanted. I love how my hair turned out - I've never seen my curls look so fresh, bouncy, and healthy! I will definitely be back!
