Crystal Star & Nails

worst service ever. nails were absolutely horrible it made me cry. if your having a bad day look at what they did to my nails to make you feel better. i trusted the lady (giselle) when she said the nail shape is supposed to be that way. the nails i wanted are the first photo the ones i received are the second photo.

Crystal Star Nails is my go to nail salon. Ivy, my favorite nail tech there, is the best at what she does and never fails to impress me. They have amazing costumer service and the salon is clean and welcoming. I stopped getting my nails done for a long time because I was never satisfied with the shape and finished look but after seeing how consistently nice my sisters nails have been I gave Ivy a try and she didn’t disappoint! This is now my third set and my nails have never been so strong and healthy. I highly recommend this salon. I do recommend showing up a few minutes early to look for parking as it is located on a main busy road.

Decided to try a nail salon closer to my house. Went for a gel manicure and Idk what I left with. All of their light color polish is so see through as if they add thinner to their paint. I changed my color 3 times and still left like this after three layers of polish. Unless you want a dark color do not go here. Also if you expect to have well shaped nails do not come here. My nails were much longer than pictured but were filed down so low and crooked. Let me add how their gel manicure includes no warm towel and no lotion which I have never heard of or seen ever before. I expressed my displeasure for the service to my nail tech. $30 and my nails look like they have pink highlighter on them which I could’ve done myself. Never again will I come here.

Idk why this place doesn’t have better reviews!! My nail girl is the one w/ glasses & the green highlighted hair; she’s AMAZING. Every design is perfect & she doesn’t take a long time to do the designs either. Their prices are fair, unlike other shops in the area. They also last me almost a month, even with my nails that grow SUPER fast.

I absolutely LOVE this place! Kevin normally does my nails and creates the best designs. I always get compliments!
