Genn is an amazing hairstylist! I’ve been with her for at least 8 years now, and I have and will follow her anywhere she goes! She’s gotten me to various shades of red all without bleaching my hair once. My hair is healthier thanks to her! When it came time for my wedding, I knew that there was only one person I trusted on that day and it was her! Genn did the most beautiful updo that lasted all day into the night, without a single piece going out of place in the July heat. She’s the only person who can get my very stubborn straight hair to hold a curl for more than 5 minutes without using a ton of heavy product. I’ve been going to Gen for over 10 years and I truly wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else. I have thick, wavy hair and usually go in for haircuts and blowouts, and her blowouts are always my favorite. They’re super bouncy, voluminous, and leave my hair silky straight without feeling heavy or flat. She’s amazing with different hair textures. She cuts my husband’s hair, which is very coily and curly, and always does such a great job. She also does my mom’s color. My mom usually goes for a chocolate shade to help cover greys with a glaze, but Gen has also done highlights for her in the past and they always come out beautiful. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gennifer and Hair Ingenuity. Gennifer worked patiently over multiple days to carefully untangle my daughter’s hair, and she did so with so much care, kindness, and encouragement. She made my daughter feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire process, which meant the world to us. I was searching for a new stylist for almost a year and stumbled across Gennifer. She responded quickly to my email and just by the messaging back and forth I felt a connection. Today was my first visit and I felt so welcomed from the time I entered the salon. Ariana took my coat and offered me water. Gennifer asked me what type of a cut I was looking for and she nailed it.
