As a physician, appearance, precision, consistency, confidence, and a good bedside manner is very important and I often look for these same qualities in everybody I interact with outside the hospital. I have been going to Slava's (Sal's) barbershop throughout the last 5 years for one reason... he's good at what he does. My style has evolved over that time, from the short spiked hair that I wanted as a medical student to a now professional style that allows me to look best for my patient's. Slava consistently outdoes himself each time, and provides a conversation that always makes me leave his shop with a smile.
